Thor is a multinational manufacturer and distributor of biocides, disinfectants, personal care ingredients and flame retardants. We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who plays a key role to achieve sales targets in our growing branch office in Turkey. He/she will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring or exceeding sales goals in various industries including paint and coating, polymer emulsions, construction chemicals etc
General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or similar
- Proven experience in sales or key account management positions
- Fluent in English
- Strong instict of sales
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Customer oriented
- Ability to travel and visit customers minimum 3 days/week
Job Description
- Prepare quotations to customers and follow up sales
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular customer visits
- Prepare and present sales reports, visit reports, forecasts, and budgets to the senior management
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand customer base
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well regulations in chemical industry
