• Graduated from relevant university (preferably Computer Science, Electronics, Electronics and Communications, or Information Systems Engineering)
• Fluent in English
• Expertise in administration of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and roles
• Expertise in domain management and Windows security management.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience in managing Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, and Group Policy Objects
• Experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting VMware virtualization infrastructure
• Knowledge of SAN switch installation and management
• Proficient in backup systems and disaster recovery continuity, with experience in managing redundancy and continuity using Veeam backup and replication software
• Knowledge and experience with storage technologies (NetApp, Huawei) and Data Domain (Dell EMC)
• Knowledge and experience with cloud solutions (primarily Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience in the maintenance, redundancy, and management of Microsoft SQL Server systems and databases
• Awareness of basic server and information security concepts

Job Description

• Administering physical and virtual servers, data storage units (SAN, NAS, CIFS, Object Storage) in Metro Turkey and Metro Global data centers.
• Monitoring server systems, making necessary configurations, and managing system maintenance and update processes.
• Handling our backup systems (Data Domain) by backing up servers and other data using Veeam, and regularly sending backup replicas to the disaster recovery center.
• Administering MS SQL databases in accordance with business continuity procedures (Always On architecture).
• Ensuring server and system security, operating system security, and server services security, while taking necessary actions based on scan findings.
• Managing the infrastructure of our applications in our Cloud systems (Google Cloud Platform).
• Providing consultancy and support on issues outside the expertise of the 1st Level Support team (such as Active Directory Management, Exchange, Office 365, SCCM, WSOne, Manage Engine, MYQ).
