In Turkey, we provide services to our guests in various concepts with a talented workforce of approximately 8,000 people in the Antalya, Muğla, and Istanbul regions.
We are seeking a valuable team member for the position of “Social Media Specialist” to be considered at Rixos Tersane İstanbul.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms to build an audience and ensure customer engagement,
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills,
- Assemble raw footage, with camera shots, either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer,
- Work to a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay,
- Input uncut rushes and sound, and synchronize and store them into files on the computer,
- Digitally cut files to put together the sequence of the film and decide what’s usable,
- Create a ’rough cut’ (or assembly edit) of the program/film and determine the exact cutting for the next and final stages,
- Reorder and fine-tune the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video,
- Publish posts according to the established social media content calendar,
- Knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy,
- Help to create a content strategy for the social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree,
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist,
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills,
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge,
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO,
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels,
- Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability,
- Fluency in English.
