We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to oversee the development, marketing, and lifecycle management of furniture panels. The ideal candidate will have expertise in wood-based panels, MDF, veneer, and laminates, with a background in product strategy, market research, and supply chain coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development & Management:
- Execute the product strategy for furniture panels, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and design teams to develop innovative and high-quality panel solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, sustainability regulations, and quality certifications.
- Manage cost structures to maintain profitability and cost competitiveness.
- Develop marketing materials, including product catalogs, brochures, point-of-sale (POS) displays, and online content.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer preferences, emerging trends, and competitive positioning.
- Analyze competitor products and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Gather and interpret customer feedback to drive product improvements and innovation.
Sales & Marketing Coordination:
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Provide technical product training and support to sales teams and distributors.
- Strategize and execute sample creation and inventory management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering and Industrial Design.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the furniture or wood-based panels industry.
- Strong understanding of MDF, veneer, laminates, and other engineered wood materials.
- Experience in pricing strategies, market research, and B2B marketing.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams (R&D, sales, marketing, manufacturing).
- Have customer centric behavior.
- Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems is a plus.
