Job Summary:

The Export Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand the company’s sales and market share in international markets. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing export operations, building relationships with international partners, and achieving export sales targets. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of international trade and a proven track record of success in export management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Export Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential markets, analyze market trends, and assess competitor activity.
    • Prepare export sales forecasts and budgets.


  • Business Development:
    • Strong relations in international markets (distributors) especially CIS, Eastern Europe (Balkans) ,  MENA, Sub Saharan Africa & US markets.
    • Identify and evaluate new export opportunities.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with international partners.
    • Participate in international trade shows and exhibitions.

 

  • Export Operations and Logistics: Managing the department handling export operation activities as below
    • Export process from order processing to delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
    • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipping.
    • Export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

 

  • Sales and Target Achievement:
    • Set export sales targets and monitor performance against targets.
    • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve export sales goals.
    • Provide sales support and training to international partners.
    • Monitor and analyze export sales performance and identify areas for improvement.


  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including international customers, distributors, and internal teams.
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to international clients.
    • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by international partners.


  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on export sales, market trends, and competitor activity.
    • Analyze export data to identify opportunities and challenges.
    • Provide recommendations to management on export strategy and business development.


Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
    • 12 to 15  years of experience in export management or international sales.
    • Looking for Turkish Nationals
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.  
    • Fluency in English and Turkish is essential.
