About the Role:

İhlas Educational Institutions is seeking a passionate and experienced ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher to join our dynamic Primary School team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative academic environment where the language of instruction is English. The position is open for immediate start, with the possibility of contract renewal for the following academic year based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging ESL lessons aligned with CEFR standards and school curriculum

• Promote effective language acquisition through interactive and student-centered methodologies

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment

• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and digital tools to support diverse learners

• Prepare and assess learners through both formative and summative assessments

• Collaborate with grade-level and subject teams to ensure curriculum integration

• Contribute to school activities, parent meetings, and professional development sessions

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching, English Language and Literature, or a related field

• ESL/TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (if degree is not ELT-related)

• Minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience, preferably at the primary level

• Fluency in English (C1+ or native level)

• Strong classroom management and ability to engage young learners

• Familiarity with CEFR, Cambridge Primary English, and/or IB PYP programs is highly preferred

• Experience with digital tools and platforms to support hybrid or tech-enhanced learning

• Ability to create a joyful, safe, and motivating learning environment

• Open to continuous professional development and a team-player mindset
