We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Specialist for our business partner, for whom we manage the recruitment process.

Job Description

Conduct risk assessments in the factory and provide recommendations on health and safety measures.

Identify, assign, and monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.

Plan and implement occupational health and safety (OHS) training programs.

Develop emergency response plans, designate teams, and conduct drills.

Investigate workplace accidents, prepare incident reports, and implement preventive measures.

Oversee waste management and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

Represent the company in OHS and environmental matters before regulatory authorities and prepare necessary reports.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety, environmental regulations, and management systems.

B-Class Occupational Safety Specialist Certification and certifications in ISO 45001, ISO 14001.

Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office programs.

Strong leadership, risk assessment, and communication skills.

Authority to halt production when safety risks arise.

Flexibility to work non-standard hours and travel when required.

Fluent English.
