Business Development Engineer reports to Business Development Manager
Your role and responsibilities;
- Defines and implements effective sales and business development initiatives and strategies in electronics manufacturers and electrical component user.
- Planning periodic customer visits with our global distributors
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full products offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Communicates details in accordance with Mert Marine Electrical&Electronics’ offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
- Creates leads, identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the Industrial Business Market, ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
- Prepares offers for potential client. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
- Identifies risks and prepares for management approval, and submits offers on time with utmost care and attention.
Qualifications For The Role
- Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electrical Electronics or similar,
- Minimum 2 years of Electrical Systems sales experience and market knowledge
- Teamwork and customer-oriented profile with strong oral and written communication skills,
- Advanced in English. Turkish knowledge is mandatory,
- Having a valid driving license. Ability to travel frequently
