Now we are looking for a ’Customer Services Assistant Specialist’ who would like to be the part of this great team!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from related fields of reputable universities preferably in Maritime Business and Administration, International Trade or Logistics,
- Written and oral fluency in English is a must (additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese are preferable),
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.),
- Working knowledge of TOS (Terminal Operating System) (preferably Navis),
- A ‘can do’ approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description,
- Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment,
- Have customer, quality, process and result driven approach,
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete tasks per deadlines,
- Capability to anticipate problems by recognizing the key issues in problems and creating contingency plans and alternative solutions,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels,
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills combined with good counselling and listening skills,
- Excellent analytical skills, teamwork skills and multi-task orientation,
- Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment,
- Ambitious and motivated for a career in global port operations,
- Able to work in shifts
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to Customer Services and Reporting Manager, the responsibilities of Customer Services Assistant Specialist be as follows:
- Create a positive first impression with customers by providing professional, efficient, and customer focused service through phone and e-mail in timely and accurate manner
- Serve as liaison between operation, management and customer to improve customer and business productivity in line with the Global Logistics Center’s goals
- Analyze customer complaints and provide appropriate corrective actions in a timely manner
- Prepare documentation and reports on routine customer correspondence for future reference purpose
- Communicate customer feedbacks to Operation, Planning, and Business Development departments in order to develop processes for better serving customers
- Maintain weekly reports on customer inquiries, responses and feedback so as to develop customer service analytics and trends
